Mr. Fox and His Tabletop

Hello, and welcome.

You have seen Mr.Fox on various occasions...and each time he makes a quick appearance in a photo I get favorable comments.

I thought I would take the opportunity to give him the spotlight.

I have had him so long that I honestly cannot remember where I found him. Travels most likely.

You can see that I try to keep his tabletop as dapper as he is. :-)

I decided to to update the top of the chest with a few fall items. A few velvet pumpkins and a couple of pots of wheat add just a touch of fall.

Have you picked up any velvet pumpkins yet? They really are fun to use in decorating.

Here is the pine chest "before" I styled it.

Mr. Fox and his photo shoot...

The riding jacket, pants, and boots are just perfect. Add the pocket watch chain, vest, and monocle and he suits my love of English style.

The cut of his coat...makes the man, er fox.

And did you notice his snack plate and napkin?

 Cute! I love Mr. Fox.

And look...I am designing some of my Christmas graphics with, yes, a fox. :-)

I feel like so many of you have become good friends from our conversations over time, and I hope that others of you will join us and become part of our group.  I truly do appreciate your visiting each week.

You have probably noticed that my blog is not one that is covered in advertising, or popup boxes asking you to do this or that. ha. Of course more advertising would make more pennies for me to cover the costs of keeping the blog up and running. But I am trying to keep the blog clean and attractive. The ads that are on the side of my blog are google placed ads that provide some revenue when viewers click those ads. So for now... I am holding the line and trying to keep my blog simple and easy to read. Any and all clicking on ads that interest you sure helps me. :-)

Thanks for visiting!

  2. Sheila, You know that I love Mr. Fox. He certainly is dapper. I would have one of my own if I could. :) Too cute the napkin and dessert. I am glad about no pop ups. I can't stay on some blogs because of that very thing. Hope you can keep going without them. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  3. Well dear Sheila, when he appears on our screens, we just have to smile. I'm grinning right now. Maybe it's his 'Devil-may-care' attitude or his 'Joie de vivre'--anyway he just makes me smile. Tipping my hat to you, too.
