Won't you come for tea?

It is such a grey day that I wish you could come for tea.

We could chat and laugh and become better friends.

I just want to tell you all that I enjoy your continued blog friendship with me.

We need friends for our well being.

While we cannot be in the same room together we can share the warmth of friendship over a cup of hot tea, or coffee, if that is your preference. ๐Ÿ˜Š

My Kentucky Living

Hello, I'm Sheila and my house is a giant art project! I enjoy creating an environment where my family can feel safe, secure, and loved. We are empty nesters learning to slow down and enjoy life.

  1. I would happily come for tea! It looks wonderfully cozy and peaceful at your place. xo

  2. I wish I could really sit with you and have some tea!!

  3. It is amazing how we can become friends without ever being in the same place. I think it's because we all "get" each other. Ever connect with someone almost instantly? Back in the day when I could still do counted cross stitch, I made pillow covers with "A True Friend is the Rarest of All Blessings". Love the picture with the steam rising from the kettle. xoxo

  4. I am having tea right now trying desperately to get warm. Your cups are much prettier than mine. Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Oh yes, I would love to come for tea. We could sit and chat and I'm sure we have a lot in common. I love your decorating style and enjoy reading your blog. I also love blue and white (see, I said we have a lot in common). If you can come to western Pennsylvania I'll put the kettle on.

  6. I want to come too. We have much in common! I am also a retired teacher and a southerner! Such beautiful teacups for my coffee.

  7. Love-Love-Love those pink floral tea cups! Looking at other comments -- I'm also a retired school-teacher-turned-college-professor and Southerner. Virginian now living in Georgia. And - I also now enjoy a slower pace of living with time to "smell the [proverbial] roses". Have a great day.

  8. Sheila,
So true, we need friends for our well being. Thank you for your southern hospitality and gracious way of living. We love seeing your home at Monday Social each week as you socialize with us.

  9. I would LOVE to come for tea!
Always a pleasure having you share at AMAZE ME MONDAY!
