Blue & White Spring Tablescape

With the coming of spring...in my mind, or on the calendar... I become more energetic and creative.

I have been playing with another tablescape, this time using my blue and white jars and Spode salad plates.

I believe you have seen most of my pieces at one time or another, but I love mixing them into new arrangements and table settings.

Last week I created a garden style table using some of the elements on this table. Then I took it apart...and started another one with much more blue.

Nicole Miller wavy edged white porcelain dinner plates.
Spode salad plates.
Oneida flatware.
Dillards napkin rings.

I also used boxwood garland from Hobby Lobby, weaving it in and out of the ginger jars. The smaller jars are from Pier One a couple of years ago.

A very simple table really, that would work well for a daytime luncheon.

Blues and greens are nice fresh colors for my springtime frame of mind. We could still get snow or ice...but I sure hope not.

I hope this inspires you to think about a blue and white table sometime soon.

Pull out your greenery and vases/ jars for a fun centerpiece.

Mix and match what you have...to create an individual look with your collection.

Throw a nice white cotton or linen tablecloth on your table to take it up a notch! A nicely pressed tablecloth makes a table and meal special.

  2. I love the rich colors of the blue and white, plus greenery, and a crisp white tablecloth. Love that white artichoke on a stand and assume it's a candle holder. This weekend I was able to add some blue and white Asian dishes to my hording, I mean collection, from GoodWill.
BTW The photos are very professional.

  5. Your table is very pretty and very nice for Spring. I really like Blue and White. It is one of my favourite colour combinations. I tend to use it more in the summer and look forward to bringing it out soon.
