It's October? Yikes!

Hello all. I hope you all have a good weekend planned.
Busy or lazy, whichever is on your "to do" list. :-)

Photo shoot using a blue linen tablecloth as a backdrop against the orange pumpkin. For some crazy reason I love the color combination!
Some like to kick back on the weekends and relax while others like to be busy coming and going, or doing this and that.

A craft project I will be showing you soon.

My weekends tend to be determined by the week. Ha! Being retired I get to pick and choose my busy and lazy days a lot. Ha ha.

Been working/creating some fall/Halloween vignettes.
The dining room is my lab/studio. :-)

But anyway....

Here we are, a week into October.
Where did September go?

I have been dilly dallying a little...
and here are a few glimpses.

Here is a stash in a corner that I hope will become parts of future vignettes.

Hubby retrieved my tall hurricanes from the depths of the garage. I spent a while washing each one in my deep sink, one at a time so as not to crack any glass.

I got busy with some filler creating the beginnings of a table centerpiece.

I do not go overboard decorating for Halloween...but I do like to add a few cute things around the house.

I found this cutie at HL...
and took a few glamour shots.

My Jack-O-Lantern does not fit in the parlor...but I will find someplace suitable for him around the house.

The trees behind the house are just beginning to change color. It is still very warm...but much cooler than what we had in August and September. We are still mowing though.

There are a few more days to enjoy sitting under the trees, before the cool winds come and blow away the leaves.

By the way, if you missed our Bloggers' Seasonal Harvest Tour...just click HERE. I have all of the links.

Here are a few of my previous fall posts just in case you would like to read more... :-)

Have a great weekend!
