I Love These Shoes!

Hold onto your hats. I am not doing a fall decorating post today. I know. Hard to believe, because I have been in full fall mode the last couple of weeks. Today, I have some great shoes to share with you.

I absolutely love these shoes!

I bought a similar pair last winter and knew I needed to get this pump version this fall.

I cannot wear a four inch high heel. I don't think I could have worn a four inch party shoe when I was twenty-five either. :-) I have short feet, which go with my short height.

I love cute party shoes...but I also need shoes that let me walk and look stylish in a pump at the same time.

Whether it is walking across campus for meetings (I am on my college's alumni board) or walking across the church parking lot, I need a sturdy dress pump feel good shoe.

I need a leather shoe that looks good with dress slacks as well as a wool skirt and sweater and maybe dress jeans. This shoe works for me!

This shoe is part of the Naturalizer @Work collection. The sole is patented to be non-slip on a wet or oily surface. I love that the shoe is super squishy inside. It feels like a bit of memory foam...but I am not really sure.

I love a great Italian leather dress shoe, but I am usually ready to kick it off as soon as I can.

I could walk around a museum or city street in these pumps/shoes and not die of pain.

I find that I can wear a thin knee high sock or stockings with this shoe. I like to wear tights with skirts or dresses in the winter so it is no problem with this pump.

Hubby said they looked like sturdy shoes. I was not sure that was a compliment at first...but at my age I like a shoe with a study heel and sure footed-ness. :-)

I also like the almond shaped toe this shoe has. Naturalizer has a dress heel with almost this same toe shape. Yes, they are study looking shoes, but they are study without looking like a laceup  two inch leather oxford that my great grandmother used to wear. ha!

I read many of the reviews of this shoe on the website and as with any shoe it fit some folks and not others.

Almost everyone writing a review agreed that the comfort level is wonderful. If you are looking for a tailored pump for fall I have to say that you might want to try this shoe. I absolutely love it.

Right now it only comes in black leather...but I sure hope they consider adding navy, brown, etc. This would be a great teacher shoe or career shoe. It will go with professional suits as well as dress jeans I think.

One reviewer worked for an airline and had to "dress" for her job. She said she was on her feet most of the day and found these shoes to be wonderful.

I have included the shoe info from my box to help you try to find it.

Yes, I wear a 4.5. It is so hard to find shoes for such a short bit of a foot. ha! When I do find a great shoe I have to shout it to the heavens and share with everyone. (When I was in high school and college the sample shoe size was a 4B. I was in heaven. Now...I think the sample size is a 6. boohoo)

I personally think twenty-something professionals up through grandmothers would find this shoe appealing. It is office dressy while being comfortable. No need to pull the sneakers out from under your desk. :-) offers sales and coupon codes on its website, so that helps a lot!

I have NO affiliation with the company...I just love the shoes and wanted to share with you all. I mean, we all want comfortable shoes that look great too. So often we have to resort to ortho styles for true comfort.

More fall decorating next time. :-)

My Kentucky Living
My Kentucky Living

Hello, I'm Sheila and my house is a giant art project! I enjoy creating an environment where my family can feel safe, secure, and loved. We are empty nesters learning to slow down and enjoy life.

  1. Very cute shoes Sheila. I can't believe how small your feet are....LOL
When I find something like a pair of shoes I love, I have to buy two....

    1. When I was younger I wore a 4.b. Ha ha. At only 5 feet tall I guess my feet fit me. I wish I were taller and had bigger feet. 😊

  2. OMG... everybody tells me that I wear a small shoe and I wear a 6. My sweet grandma wore a 4.5 and she wore heals until she was 96! Have a good week.

  3. Sheila, 4 1/2 , you are Cinderella....such a tiny foot !! :):) I do love those shoes. I have major shoe envy most times. I use to wear them all. now I only wear flats and sneakers..some slip-ons. I really like that sturdy look. I wrote the name down, I am going to look for some. Blessings and thank you, xoxo, Susie

  4. Very cute shoes! But I can only wear sneaker type shoes with my ankle. All my other shoes are up in the closet in boxes and have been since this happened over 4 years ago...

  5. do have a small foot!!!....Great shoe!

  6. This is a very good looking shoe as well as being kind to the feet. You do have a Cinderella foot!

  7. Those are cute shoes. I have bad feet from teaching on concrete for years and have trouble finding comfortable shoes. Dansko, Clarks, Crocks and Naturalizers are my favorites. I'll be looking for this style in the stores. Thanks for the tip!

  8. Those shoes certainly look like they fit the bill for so many occasions. Thanks for sharing (from a gigantic size 9 girl!). -Jenn

  9. Those are cute and look comfy. You have a very small foot! Small feet seem to run in my family (more like 5-1/2 to 6 but my daughter wears a 3 -1/2 to 4 depending on the manufacturer. She has to pretty much order all of her shoes. I'll look into this line because I have wide feet and am always looking for something comfy.

  10. Thanks for tip! Our daughter is a chemistry professor and wears a size 9 and wants a comfy shoe for lab/work. This looks really comfy and stylish!

  11. Thanks for the tip! I do a lot of walking in my workday and am always on the lookout for shoes that combine comfort and style - not always easy!! I also like the Cobb Hill line made by Rockport.

  12. Oh my, your feet are tiny! I was reading this thinking oh yes, 4.5 is small then I realised you are in the US so that's US 4.5, that's a UK 2.5. I think I was about 8 when my feet were last that size!
All that said, these do look smart and comfy so thanks for the recommendation, I will check out the company, see if they sell over here (with the sizes on the box I am hoping they do)

  13. I'm short 5'1, but I must have gunboats. I wear 7.5. I love these shoes. They are dressy yet cozy. Enjoy them for many miles.

  14. I'm short 5'1, but I must have gunboats. I wear 7.5. I love these shoes. They are dressy yet cozy. Enjoy them for many miles.

  15. These are great looking shoes, Shelia! I find that I can't wear thin heels anymore, and the chucky heels on these look fantastic. I sat next to a stylish young woman in church yesterday who was wearing similar shoes, but in a light beige suede. They had the rounded toe and chucky heel. Thanks for sharing this information.

  16. Really cute shoes Sheila! I love that tote too, I have the same one and I use it all the time! Thank you so much for sharing with us at Dishing It & Digging It!

  17. Since I had kids I pretty much gave up on tall heels. Plus I'm pretty clumsy. I have several friends who have a hard time finding professional dress shoes with rubberized bottom's that don't look like work boots. Will have to recommend these to them.

  18. I love those shoes but need a flat. The purse on the other hand will be perfect as a birthday gift. Leaving my comuter open to your post for when hubby walks by. LOL Thank you for sharing your wonderful post at #OverTheMoon. I look forward to what you will share next week! Do something special. Give yourself a standing ovation today! We hope you’ll come back again next Sunday when we open our doors at 6:00 PM EST.

  19. Thank you for sharing your wonderful post at #WonderfulWednesday. I look forward to what you will share next week! Do something special. Give yourself a standing ovation today! We hope you’ll come back again next Tuesday when we open our doors at 7:00 PM EST.

  20. My stiletto days are long behind me and it's all about comfort now. After several fitness related lower limb injuries this is the type of heel I need. Thanks for sharing them and thank you for sharing your links us this week at Celebrate Your Story, have a great weekend!

  21. Too cute! :)

Thanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!

  22. They are so pretty! I have a pair or two of Naturalizers that are pretty and very comfortable too. Your tiny little feet probably do make it super hard to find shoes. Glad you shared this. :)

  23. Sheila I too cannot wear heels any more. After 4 pregnancies my feet have flattened out and are not heel freindly. But these look really comfortable. They must give you that walking on a cloud feeling that I love so much. Pinning.
