A Mother's Day Table Setting

I am not preparing a mother's day luncheon this year, so I thought I would share some of the pics from last year's table setting,

I generally prefer simple table settings...and I believe this one may be my favorite.

I also prefer white tablecloths in the dining room...and in the kitchen. White cloths are so French, and provide a simple, neutral backdrop.

Simple grocery store tulips bring nature's colors to the table. I had the flowers, then decided which plates to use.

I chose to use my mismatched Spode plates.
The shades of blue with the pink/lavender tulips just make my heart sing. A simple spring look!

Grocery store flowers look wonderful, so don't worry about having to spend a fortune on a florist's arrangement.

For this centerpiece I simply set the pots on a large platter.

A Beatriz Ball cake platter for something sweet.

I wish each mother a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. Enjoy your special time!

Have a great Mother's day or weekend. I will be in touch in a couple of days.

Thanks for visiting!
