Sharing Grandma's Chocolate Cake Recipe

Oh My Heartsie Girl

I have a recipe by Norman Love for you today that I found on Inside Chic.

The inspiration was for this cake is to be like something someone's grandmother might make. I will add...a southern grandmother perhaps! :-)

I have been scouting recipes for Derby entertaining and I ran across this cake. I thought it might interest you also.

I drool just looking at the picture. I plan to make this cake for a spring occasion...maybe Derby. I am even thinking of "spiking" it. Hey, even Kentucky grandmas spike cakes at Christmas. Why not for Derby?!

See what you think about this recipe. I believe the buttermilk will make it extra moist. If you make it before I do, please let me know what you think about it.

For copyright reasons I have not included the full recipe...

I have NO affiliation with Chico's or Norman Love Confections. But I would like to. :-) (Clothes and Chocolate. Win. Win.)
