It's Bunny Time!

I put together a tray of spring decorations Sunday afternoon. It's fun to bring out the bright spring colors after such a long, cold winter.

A tray of Easter decorations is a fun way to display a collection of bits and pieces.
I had a great trip to Lexington and Transylvania (my alma mater) and enjoyed seeing my daughter's house. I got to stay in their guest suite so I had a quiet place to spend the night.

They have done so many updates in their house since they moved in at the end of September. Plus...daughter is painting their golden oak cabinets a pretty shade of white. It is a long project, especially when you work all day and can only apply one coat of oil based paint per night. I saw jugs of de-glosser, sander, etc. I hope she will let me show pics after all is done.

I found this wire-twig-moss bunny last year at a local furniture store.
He really wanted to come home with me.

I am just beginning to play with some of my spring things. It's fun to tinker, and to try to do something more creative than last year. I don't really have a plan. I just start with trays, baskets, etc. and create as I go.

I began with an extra large black wooden tray as a base for this arrangement. I added some green moss for touch of green grass, and some eggs. Then a little of this and that.

You can't really go wrong with Easter and Spring arrangements because pretty colored eggs are just so bright and pretty. Just add your favorite bits and pieces and you will have a pretty decorative tabletop.

Using a few sprigs of faux forsythia to brighten up the house.

Have Easter bunnies begun hopping around your house?
