I am still puttering around the house...and each day I say that I am going to start baking, and then I don't.
Holiday table setting
The table is set as in a previous post...but I tweaked it some.
It is always nice to have a "go to" table setting so that you can do quickly when you don't have much time.
When I do an new tablescape...it takes me time trying this and that before I know if it works. ha!
The blue & white creamer came from hubby's grandmother.
His mother put a note on the bottom that it was from the first dishes that his
grandparents had when they "set up housekeeping." So special!
Christmas table setting
This is not an overly dressed table...but rather a simple one where the importance is on the people around the table. I have my old wedding china and crystal...but it seems that I always go with a more relaxed table.
Our house has a dedicated dining room, and I love that it does. In fact it has a separate sitting room too...when the trend is open concept these days.
We have a larger great room that is open to the end of the kitchen.
But I do enjoy my separate, somewhat dressier, front rooms. (My love of traditional (floor plans) is rearing its head. ha!)

I just wanted to show you how you can take the same place settings and morph the style of the table with a different centerpiece.
Thanks so much for visiting.
