No Fuss Thanksgiving Tablescape

I love table arrangements made in dough bowls.

However, I do not have a dough bowl!  :-(

What to do?

Then a couple of days ago it occurred to me that I have a long basket, a basket that is part of a wrought iron planter. But why not take the basket and try it on the dining room table?

I gave it a try...and it works just fine.

I do still look at dough bowls, and have on on my wish list for the future,  but I can use my basket to create a nice Thanksgiving tablescape this year.

You have seen my Williamsburg candlesticks before, as well as the gold table runner. I use and reuse my accessories...always trying to create new looks. It is much less expensive to think up new ways to use items! ha.

Here is my three foot long basket...and it works wonderfully on my dining room table.

I tried another candle...

I looked at both of them for a few minutes.

In the end...I went back to the simple Williamsburg candlesticks.

I prefer "simple" style for Thanksgiving.

That way you have more room on your table for place settings, bowls and platters, and the desert tray!

Here is a free printable for you!
I am so thankful that I have the best blog friends! Here's to another year of fun and friendship!

Right click then save as...in your pictures. Print to the size you wish.

I am still on the look out for a dough bowl that speaks to me. :-)

Thanks for Visiting!
