My Blue & White China Addiction

More of My Blue & White Addiction

I have been moving and rearranging again...trying to create new tablescapes for you to use as inspiration in your own home.

Today's "blue and white" items are ceramic items from Hobby Lobby.
They are not food safe due to their glaze.
They have no pedigree or provenance.
They are just pretty...to me.
I find that they give me many traditional vignettes
where ever I put them in the house.

Here are the two canisters on the coffee table.
I like the way they look, but I want to build a larger vignette...so I head to the dining table and bring several pieces together for more blue & white pop.

I added in some candlesticks...as I like candles on the dining table.

Here is a closeup of the canisters, bowl, and platter.

Ah...the perfect still life.

I added my white crackle bird into the mix. Still good.
But let me try something else.

Since I am crushing on orange this summer...
I pulled in my large orange candlestick.
It looks kind of punchy....but I like it.
The wood and the orange work together.

I have mixed many colors...some that I would not think would work together.
Orange with Blue and White? Who does that?
But to my eyes...the blue, white, orange, apple green, and gold work even if it sounds crazy.
I encourage you to try things around your house that might sound crazy.
You might just end up with a "Wow" look.
I would love to see your tabletop vignettes...
