Hadley Pottery in Louisville, KY

I love Hadley Pottery.

I used to have several plates, but alas they were stolen from our house attic during our process of moving. I hope to maybe pick up a few more pieces to replace those and was looking around the Hadley Pottery website. I thought maybe you would enjoy seeing some of their pieces too. I would venture to say that most Louisville area people are familiar with Hadley pieces...but maybe not the rest of you. Their iconic look is easily recognized by the blue paint. Take a look and see if you like Hadley Pottery as much as I do.

Hadley Pottery is a special Kentucky product. I remember being a young married grad student in louisville. I would see Hadley Pottery in shops around Louisville and wanted so much to collect pieces. But, alas, being young, married and both of us in grad school the budget just would not allow me to collect those special pieces of pottery.
Time passed, and I began teaching, which let me get those few special pieces. I had a cheese plate with dome and desert size plates. Unfortunately those pieces were lost during our move a few years ago. I may need to take a road trip back to Louisville to see about replacements.
Here is the link to Hadley Pottery. Just click and visit. The website will show you more than I can tell. http://www.hadleypottery.com

Enjoy your time in Louisville!
